Nir Fishbien – Counsel

Nir Fishbien is a tax attorney focusing on U.S. domestic and international tax law. He regularly advises clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, the formation, operation of, and investment in investment funds and joint ventures, securities offerings, and other domestic and cross-border tax matters. In addition to his transactional practice, he has served as an expert witness in an international tax dispute involving questions of U.S. tax law.

Nir has advised on complex transactions at Sullivan & Cromwell, White & Case, and Caplin & Drysdale, and holds a Doctorate in Law (S.J.D.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Michigan Law School, with a focus on U.S. tax law. He regularly writes on U.S. domestic and international tax matters and his articles have been published in the Virginia Tax Review, Florida Tax Review, Columbia Journal of Tax Law, Tax Notes, Intertax, and other publications.
